MOVIE - THE ACCIDENTAL PRIME MINISTER

Now a days it is the season of biopics, first we saw the biopic on MS Dhoni then we saw biopic on Sanjay Dutt. Both the biopics were blockbuster. Now an another biopic The Accidental Prime Minister will come which is based on life style of our former prime minister Dr Manmohan Singh.

The Accidental Prime Minister is an upcoming 2018 Indian biographical political drama film directed by Vijay Ratnakar Gutte and written by Mayank Tewari. The film stars Anupam Kher as Manmohan Singh, the economist and politician who served as the Prime Minister of India from 2004 to 2014 under the United Progressive Alliance. The film is based on the 2014 memoir of the same name by Sanjaya Baru. It is scheduled to release on 21 December 2018.

Speaking about his role in the film, Anupam Kher said, “The opportunity of portraying a contemporary personality like Dr Manmohan Singh in The Accidental Prime Minister is an immense challenge for me as an actor. He is part of a 24/7 media era where world knows his persona minutely. I have been internalizing this character for the past few months. I look forward to translating that effort into cinematic reality.”
